Uncle David out of surgery in ICU

Uncle David came through the 11 hour surgery and is doing well. He is ICU and will be for about 4 days. The next two days are critical to see if his body will accept or try to reject the new liver. He did not have a kidney transplant too at this time. The doctors seemed hopeful that his own kidneys are already starting to kick in with the help of the new liver. The new liver was kicking in and making bile too!! He still has a tube down his throat so unable to talk but has a pen and tablet and talked to Verna that way and ordered her to go to the hotel and get some sleep. She will return to hospital at 8:00am so I will know more then. Thank y'all for your continued prayers! God sure has been good!
